Rank 9: Rosebud

This is a basic rank for all new members to the game that wish to join the ranks of Roisin Dubh. This time is crucial for new members to get to know their brothers and sisters of Roisin Dubh and to get a feel for Warhammer and the guild. They may gain knowledge through talking with their fellow guild members. These members must also register on the guild web site and claim their character(s) on the roster and to make themselves known to other guild members before they will advance within the guild.
No guild member will be promoted from Rosebud before registering on the web site and claiming their characters!

Rank 8: Black Rose

These members are expected to fight and learn along side their brothers and sisters in scenarios as well as open RvR. They must engage with others and gain knowledge of one another's skills so they may be more effective in dungeons and battlefields. Merchants, facilities and a public vault are provided in the guild tavern (once guild obtains high enough rank). While spending time on the battlefield and getting into as many Roisin Dubh groups as possible. This is best achieved by grouping with as many other Black Roses as possible, to hone one another's skills and become a familiar group ready and willing to defend our frontiers.

Rank 7: Black Rose Guardian

This is a fully-fledged Warrior of Roisin Dubh ready to serve and protect the forces of Order in the face of danger. Your knowledge of the lands and your using your abilities to the fullest extent against the enemy is a great asset to the guild. Black Rose Guardians fight in the name of the Black Rose against the forces of destruction. These members are knowledgeable about enemy races and classes; knowing what they are capable of during times of war. They show a helping hand to other Roses in the battlefield, passing on techniques and the lay of the land whenever possible. A Black Rose Guardian is considered a strong advocate in knowing what others will be a good recruit for our ranks and displays the correct amount of valor in dealing with anyone from Order.

Rank 6: Black Thorns

The highest non-officer rank in Roisin Dubh. You have shown yourself as an excellent example to the guild. Helping others learn, conducting events and overall being visible to the membership. Activity is expected both in game and on the forums. You are also a representation of the individual classes. You are responsible for answering any class specific questions, and help others obtain proper equipment. Promotion to this rank comes from the Black Rose Guardians on simple majority of all active and current officers.

Rank 5: Roisin Roots

These are the retired officers of Roisin Dubh. Though they are not currently engaged in leading the guild, their past contributions have earned them a place of honor in the guild. Should they ever wish to assume an active officership again, the decision is theirs. Until such a time, they are to be given the same respect as the active officers in the guild, and their input is just as valued. As such, they retain some of the basic privileges of officers.

Rank 3: Black Thorn General

Having proven themselves as leaders, Black Thorn Generals are officers of Roisin Dubh. Having earned the trust of the guild, Black Thorn Generals are to aid in guild organization. They are expected to spearhead the guild's war effort, leading in both RvR and PvE. Black Thorn Generals are to assist in communicating decisions throughout the ranks of Roisin Dubh, and actively aid in the growth of the guild and it's members.

Expectations:

Act as a guild leader
Create events for the guild
Aid in guild management and organization
Ensure gear is available for guild members
Ensure crafting materials are available for guild members

Rank 2: The Roundtable

The Roundtable is comprised of the Senior Officers in the guild. This is the highest officer rank achieved within Roisin Dubh. Having gone above and beyond the call for leadership in-game, the Roundtable makes final recommendations on matters such as promotion, demotions, bans, and social conflicts. Along with the Protectorate, the Roundtable is responsible for the oversight of member management, RvR, PvE, alliance affairs, and management of the guild's vault and treasury.

Monitor and maintain guild morale
Act as a community leader
Ensure guild events occur in both RvR and PvE

Rank 0 & 1: Black Rose Protectorate

The Black Rose Protectorate are the Guild Masters of Roisin Dubh in Warhammer. Their history of dedication to the promotion of the Guild earns them a leading voice in Roisin Dubh. The Black Rose Protectorate is entrusted with preserving the tradition and ideals of the guild, while ensuring healthy change and growth in the future . The responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to the following: Their words will be held in respect and honor as they engage in organization and implementation of ranks and guild infrastructure, delegation of guild responsibilities to officers and membership, fair representation of membership in your alliance and realm, intervention in the face of guild and/or realm disagreements and conflicts resulting in disciplinary action. Protectorates will have the final word on all matters not previously resolved, and will look to the Roisin Roundtable as their first advisory on all guild and war matters.

Promotion to Black Rose Protectorate (Guild Master) is only made by a unanimous decision by the current, active GMs of Roisin Dubh. If promotion to this rank is done without a vote, members will be reset to their previous rank.
