TUATHA DE TREUBH

ALLIANCE CHARTER

MISSION

Our Mission is two fold :

  • To forge an alliance of light, duty bound to first repel, then conquer, then to utterly vanquish the demonic hordes of destruction that so dare to threaten our glorious realm; and
  • To create a fun, civilized and organized environment for our members with oppotunities to RVR, PQ, Instances, Quests and enjoy various aspects of the game.

ALLIANCE CHAT and COMMUNICATION

We have just one prime directive when communicating with an alliance member, and that is : to treat each other with respect and dignity (to value other members feelings and views as valid to that individual member, even should we disagree with their views or feelings).

The Alliance Chat channel shall be used as a tool for alliance activities such as finding and forming groups and/or relaying information. It shall not be required to be ' RP' while using it. Be respectful.

TS/Vent will not be required in alliance warbands, but the use of it will be encouraged to those who are capable.  If there are members in a warband or group who are not in voice-chat, a member will be designated to translate spoken commands into text.

General Guildlines:
We want to encourage roleplay, since we are on a roleplay server, and strive to make all members feel included no matter their level of comfort with roleplaying.  Roleplaying will not be required in RvR warbands or in Alliance chat. Roleplayers in individual groups will not be harassed or demeaned.  Should a member join a roleplaying group and refuse to roleplay, he or she should be politely asked to leave the group.

Designation of Alliance officers from each guild shall be left up to the individual guild leaders with the understanding that at least one rvr commander will be included in the group.

RvR leaders must be able to work together during alliance events either running in tandem with other alliance warbands or within the same warband. One leader should be designated at the outset of a campaign or raid and any other officers present should defer to the leader.  The leader of a warband should be treated with respect and listened to during battle, no matter which guild he/she hails from.  During the heat of battle is not a good time for strategic and tactical reflection.  Commanders are encouraged to hold AARs (after action reviews) to discuss what they and the group could have done differently so that members feel involved in the process.

ALLIANCE OFFICER COMMUNICATION

Alliance Liaison Officers may post to an Alliance board at http://www.roisin-dubh.com/ where issues can be discussed, guilds voted in etc. Any relevant decisions can then be re posted on each guilds website. All we require is that the site be checked at least once per week. There is also a place for general members of the alliance to post on the forums. And (for both) Should a serious situation arise that needs quick resolution, an immediate meeting may be called by any Alliance Liaison Officer, or Alliance Guild GM. The general contents of these discussions should be posted to the Alliance Officers Forum"

ALLIANCE SANCTIONED EVENT LOOT RULES

Greed items unless you can use the the item with the current character your playing. Crafting items greed unless you are a crafter in need of the items.

NEW GUILDS

Each guild will have 1 vote on iany issues that come up-such as inviting new guilds to join. A vote must be unanimous before an invitation is extended to a new guild.

Membership in the alliance should be determined by a vote by the current alliance guild leaders, one vote per leader and must be unanimous.  It is hoped that the invidiual leaders will have sought the input of their guilds and officers prior to this vote.  Likewise, removel from the alliance shall be handled by vote and must be unanimous.  A 2/3rds majority will be required for any other action.

INTER-GUILD RECRUITMENT

Guilds shall not recruit members of allied guilds. Should a member, of his own volition, apply to " Guild A" from an allied "Guild B", then Guild A's GM will inform Guild B's GM of the application. Guild B's GM may choose to veto the move, should said GM believe such appropriate.

EXPLOITS

There is ZERO tolorance policy toward our members using exploits and/or cheats in any way.
