Can you believe its been 10 yrs. ?  RD has gone through many games since then but DAoC is still around.  There seems to be some more content in the making for this year, you might want to check out the video about those.   Its on the Herald front page.

Sooo, as some of you may have noticed, our web server was down from Thursday until  today... Let's just say that I learned the wrong way to update the kernel of a xen client 
Live and learn I guess...

It took so long to come back up because one of the backups that I had made refused to restore, and I had to get help from the server support.

The bad news is I have to rebuild everything from scratch, we had nightly backups of the database and minecraft server. But older backups of the gallery and everything else... The web server is back up, and the minecraft server will be soon, then I just need to redo the teamspeak server.

All in all we lost our new 1.8 minecraft world (failed backup), 6 pictures from the gallery, and 2 of Rego's posts (no big loss there ).

I've been following this game for a while now and they just opened the Beta sign-ups so I figured I'd post this because I don't know how long the sign-ups will be open.

Modern day setting with 3 factions and PVP. Enough Said!!!! It wont be DAOC 2.0, but this has potential to be pretty bad-ass!!! It's a Funcom/EA game BTW. Check it out and let me know what you guys think
